Our Wedding

Trey and I met in May 2014 while out for happy hour one Friday after work. Our mutual friend invited him to stop by for a drink and to catch up. He came right from work, still in his suit from the day and sat with us girls for about an hour. We didn't talk much except for what each of us did for work. Neither of us thought too much about meeting each other. Over that following summer I spent every weekend and plenty of week nights out in Milwaukee with my girlfriends. I was loving life, living back in Milwaukee, was promoted at the job I love and not too concerned about dating. Trey's name would come up from time to time but we never really saw each other even with some of the same friends. One night in November 2014, after a rough day my friend convinced me to meet her. She was out with friends already and Trey was one of them. I hadn't planned on staying long as I was already in the mood for sweatpants and relaxing. The group dwindled down to my friend, Trey and his friend visiting from Michigan. We stayed out talking, laughing and having fun. I realized how late it was and called an uber to head home. After that when something would come up and remind me of that night all I could think about was Trey's sense of humor and how hard he made me laugh. On Christmas Eve 2014 I was at my parents having wine and relaxing. I was scrolling through my facebook feed and saw pictures of Trey with his family in Disneyland. As I looked at them I realized I was focusing on his smile which made me smile. It had been quite a while since someone had grabbed my attention and now my thoughts kept drifting to him.Our paths crossed again that New Years Eve. Trey flew in that day from Florida and began celebrating with his friends a few hours earlier. We were with different groups of people, my night was just starting, and I was pretty sure he was trying to set me up with his friend, so we didn't talk much that night. That following weekend I had planned a nice, quiet, girls night in at my apartment. Everyone showed up in their sweats with a bottle of wine. Before we knew it we were blasting music, borrowing clothes, doing our makeup and heading out downtown. We decided to meet up with everyone that was out celebrating Trey's birthday. As our huge group was crammed up at the bar trying to get a drink, Trey looked over at me and smiled. It took me about one second to push through everyone to get to him. We talked and laughed the entire time we were there. Everyone joked they weren't sure if Trey ever left that bar stool that night. From that night on we've been together. My love and admiration for Trey grows stronger everyday. He amazes me in ways I never gave much thought to before. Our relationship hasn't been all smiles, we have our ups and downs. But there is no one I'd rather go through life with. I can not wait to share and celebrate this day with the family and friends that mean the most to us. Cheers! 07.29.2017

I could go on and on about what an amazing friend Jenny is. I'm blessed to call her my best, my sista, my slice of cheese to my cracker, my vodka to my cranberry. I am so happy to have her by my side on the most exciting day of my life.

The best sister-in-law I could've asked for, we're so lucky to have Hania in our family. Within the first few minutes of meeting her I knew I loved her. Red wine and laughing seems to be all we can do when we're together. Even though we live states apart it's not uncommon for us to have the same purse, perfume, makeup, or jewelry, or we're swapping stuff until the next time we see each other. Having her by my side as I marry the love of my life means the world to me.

The best little sister any one could ask for. We can sit and talk about music, cats, yoga ... whatever for hours She's sweet, caring and loving and has loved Trey since the day they met. Early on in mine and Trey's relationship I remember her saying "you guys seem to fit really well in the others family", which meant and still means the world to me. Lauren being apart of my bridal party is the best feeling!

Lauren

My partner in crime, the one that will drink champagne with me at a dive bar, the sweetest girl I know! Choosing just one picture from all of our memories was extremely hard. I couldn't imagine creating this memory with out her.

Stacey was the first Cochran family member I met. Our friendship started through silly snap-chats, a few texts here and there, and a little bit of facebook stalking. I knew right away how much I would love her. We finally met at a family wedding and it's been nothing but sisterly fun since then.

When Trey and I began sharing details about our families, he spoke so highly of Shannon. He would tell me the most adorable stories of them growing up, Stories about grade school, college, her wedding and his two adorable nieces. I could feel it in his voice how much he respects and looks up to her. The more time I was able to spend with Shannon, I began to feel the exact same way. I can't express how lucky I feel to gain a sister that I admire and have the utmost respect for. Not to mention she's pretty fun to have a few drinks with, talk skincare or just lay around and watch Disney movies with.
